When I was a poor student I used to sketch portraits professionally to support myself. Only occasionally now will I pick up a pencil again to do a work for a friend.
This one is a quick and nasty sketch to try out mixing traditional and digital drawing. Structure and basic detail laid out on paper, scanned and then the rest finished off in Painter. This was done as a test to try this method of mixing digital and traditional drawing. I didn't really like how it went so I will stick to the pencils and smudge sticks. |
